Teen Read Week - October 18-24, 2015

Teen Read Week™ is a national adolescent literacy initiative created by the Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA). It began in 1998 and is held annually in October. Its purpose is to encourage teens to be regular readers and library users. Join the conversation on Twitter with #TRW15

Looking to celebrate Teen Read Week? Drop by the library and check out our great resources and recently added novels. New titles include An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir, The Geography of You and Me by Jennifer Smith, and I Was Here by Gayle Forman. We also have the new Chronicles of Nick and Bloodlines books.

Looking to de-stress? Stop by and colour a picture in one of our new adult colouring books. Wanting to learn a new skill? Visit the library and learn to read a pattern and knit a scarf. Interested in joining the library club and/or Battle of the Books? Stop by the library and speak to Ms. Allen.
